Perkins Coie Announces 2025 Senior Counsel Promotions

SEATTLE (November 21, 2024)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that four lawyers have been promoted to senior counsel effective January 1, 2025. 

“Camille, Philip, Reese, and Jacob are phenomenal lawyers who are committed to their clients’ success and to providing first-rate legal guidance to their clients,” said Firmwide Managing Partner Bill Malley. “They each work hard to understand the unique challenges faced by their clients and to help them succeed in their respective business sectors. We congratulate them on their promotions to senior counsel.” 

The firm's senior counsel class of 2025 includes: 

Jaina (Camille) Fisher (Seattle) is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice and Insurance Recovery subgroup. Camille advocates in both state and federal courts on behalf of policyholders in various insurance areas including property damage, bodily injury, environmental claims, title insurance claims, cyber liability, and directors’ and officers’ liability. Camille also specializes in representing policyholders in London arbitrations pursuant to “Bermuda Form” excess liability policies.   

Philip Maier (Boise) is a member of the Business practice. Philip counsels private company clients on a range corporate and transactional matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracts, and other general business matters in addition to private equity and venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and exit transactions.   

Theresa (Reese) Nguyen (Seattle) is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation practice. Reese focuses her practice on patent litigation and appeals and complex general litigation in federal district courts. She represents leading technology companies in disputes involving semiconductors, network architecture, cloud computing, telecommunications, internet software and applications, and consumer products and services.  

Jacob Taber (New York) is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice. Jacob represents publicly traded companies and start-ups in state and federal courts across the country, as well as in arbitration. Jacob is also an appellate specialist who practices regularly in state and federal courts of appeals.
