Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

Guiding innovation with both legal and technical insights.

While public interest in Artificial (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) may seem new, core aspects of these technologies have both been in development and in use for some time.

Our dedicated AI/ML industry group dates back to 2016, long before many of our peers recognized this emerging area. Many of our lawyers have advised and assisted clients with the development, use, and deployment of these technologies for more than a decade.

We work with many of the world’s most innovative companies, both in the area of traditional AI/ML, and with generative AI. We provide advice to clients as they bring new solutions to market, helping them to respond to today’s laws and anticipating how they may evolve over time.

Our clients range from startups to major leading technology companies, all understanding that the integration of AI/ML technologies will be vital to their future success. Our team includes lawyers with advanced scientific and computer programming degrees, some with a specific focus on AI/ML technologies, and lawyers who have previously worked as researchers, developers, or in-house counsel for companies focused on these technologies.
