Jon Daryanani represents employers in all aspects of employment and labor litigation and client counseling, including trade secrets and employee mobility litigation. These engagements include civil litigation, including wage and hour class actions (PAGA) and administrative proceedings, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and misappropriation of trade secret claims.
Serving as both resource and counsel for his clients, Jon provides strategic planning on various employment matters, such as the negotiation of executive compensation packages for startup and private equity companies.
Jon's clients include internationally known brands such as T-Mobile USA, The Boeing Company, and Yamaha Corporation of America. They operate in diverse industries, including manufacturing, technology, entertainment, social media, banking, private equity, and energy.
A former certified public accountant with a Big Four accounting firm, Jon brings this additional insight to his practice. He routinely works with firm mergers and acquisitions lawyers, conducting due diligence regarding employment issues in conjunction with the purchase and sale of California entities.

Yamaha Corporation of America
Obtained dismissal of punitive damages, retaliation and failure to engage in the interactive process claims on summary judgment on behalf of Yamaha Corporation of America, resulting in an immediate and favorable resolution of the civil action brought by a former employee.

Obtained dismissal of claims filed by former employee on summary judgment in arbitration, utilizing favorable deposition testimony of plaintiff. The judge issued an order dismissing plaintiff’s claims for (1) racial discrimination, (2) retaliation, (3) wrongful termination, (4) negligent supervision, hiring, and retention, (5) punitive damages, and (6) emotional distress.
