Elizabeth Plata Omidian
Elizabeth Omidian serves as outside general counsel to startup companies through all stages of their corporate life cycle.
She provides services ranging from formation and corporate governance to equity and debt financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Her experience also includes company conversions, preparing equity incentive plans and advising on tax and securities matters. As a successful startup founder herself, Elizabeth has personal experience with the corporate life cycle, including pre-incorporation planning, financing and exit.
Elizabeth maintains an active pro bono practice that includes volunteering at a local clinic representing tenants in landlord tenant settlement negotiations.
While attending Santa Clara University School of Law, Elizabeth worked for its Entrepreneurs' Law Clinic and served as editor-in-chief of the Santa Clara Journal of International Law. In addition, she served as an intern for the Hon. William J. Monahan of the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara.
