Ebony Morris

Ebony Morris assists clients with matters such as entity formation, corporate governance, debt and equity financings, strategic transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity compensation, and other corporate legal issues.

She also works with investors in venture capital, private equity, family offices, and corporate venture groups.

Ebony is committed to helping clients in emerging industries find practical solutions to complex, rapidly developing business issues. She is a founding member of the Psychedelic Bar Association and participates in its corporate forms and practices committee, representing a collaborative effort to establish the corporate practice standards of the psychedelic industry. Ebony is a member of the core leadership team for the Perkins Coie Startup Springboard Program, which elevates a cohort of emerging growth founders and helps them expand their ecosystem. She also maintains an active pro bono practice in immigration law, anti-recidivism efforts, LGBTQ+ rights, women's healthcare rights, and supervision of legal interns under Washington Supreme Court Admission and Practice Rule 9.

A graduate of Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Ebony was appointed as both a Salzburg Cutler and a Northwestern Law Black Students Initiative fellow. She also earned her LL.M. in International Human Rights Law concurrent to receiving her J.D. Prior to law school, Ebony graduated cum laude from Howard University.
