Perkins Coie Represents Cox Media Group in Urban One’s Acquisition of Houston Radio Stations
WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 12, 2023)—Perkins Coie is pleased to have represented Cox Media Group in a definitive asset purchase agreement for its Houston radio cluster by Urban One Inc. For more information, please see Urban One's press release here.
Under the agreement, Urban One will acquire four Houston area radio stations from Cox Media Group, including 93Q Country KKBQ-FM, classic rock station The Eagle 106.9 & 107.5 KHPT-FM and KGLK-FM, and Country Legends 97.1 KTHT-FM. The deal is subject to Federal Communications Commission approval and closing conditions.
