Adrian M. Rich brings technological understanding to his guidance to clients. From inception to exit, he provides knowledgeable counsel as clients undertake financial and strategic investments, licensing, strategic partnerships, acquisitions and public offerings, and routine corporate matters. Adrian’s education in biomedical engineering and economics and his lifelong passion for computers and programming inform all aspects of his practice. He tackles complex negotiations and issues, including deal structuring, reorganizations, and down-rounds, using strong quantitative skills coupled with creative problem solving.
Adrian began his practice in the medical device and biotech industry. As technology and life science converged, he broadened his work to include big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning, augmented reality and virtual reality, and blockchain. He applies these to life sciences, business processes, data science, and education.
Representing venture funds, first-time funds, and accelerators/incubators, Adrian also advises several impact companies and investors supporting clean water and gender and racial equality in the venture environment.
