Perkins Coie Represents Synchron in Series B $40 Million Funding Round with Khosla Ventures
PALO ALTO (June 4, 2021)—Perkins Coie is pleased to have represented Synchron, a brain interface platform company, in its Series B $40 million round of financing led by Silicon Valley venture capital fund Khosla Ventures.
The funding will be used to launch a pivotal clinical study in the U.S. of Synchron's StentrodeTM technology to enable the use of digital devices by patients with limb paralysis. Funds will also be used to seed a development pipeline of neurointerventional sensing and stimulating products addressing multiple neurological indications.
