Addison litgates complex constitutional and statutory disputes in appellate and trial courts.
Addison W. Bennett litigates a wide range of substantive legal disputes before state and federal appellate and trial courts. His experience includes briefing and arguing appeals and dispositive motions on matters including constitutional law, bankruptcy, employment, antitrust, law firm defense, municipal finance, class actions, administrative law, and judgment enforcement. He has particular experience before the Supreme Court of the United States, successfully petitioning for certiorari and briefing multiple recent cases on the merits, as well as experience briefing cases before federal courts of appeals across the country.
Before joining Perkins Coie, Addison began his career in an Appellate & Constitutional Law practice in the Washington, D.C., office of another major law firm. After graduating law school, he also served as a law clerk to Judge Andrew D. Hurwitz on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
