Perkins Coie Selected Again as a Recommended Firm for Section 337 Investigations by China Ministry of Commerce
BEIJING (October 27, 2024)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce the firm was once again selected as one of only a handful of U.S. law firms qualified to provide legal services to the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) in the field of International Trade Commission (ITC) Section 337 investigations. This is the fourth time Perkins Coie has been selected since MOFCOM initiated the law firm bidding process in 2013. The bidding process included a comprehensive evaluation of the firm’s and team’s experience and results in Section 337 investigations. Perkins Coie’s bid—compiled by the firm’s ITC Litigation team: co-chair Kevin Patariu; and partners Bing Ai, John Esterhay, and Louise Lu; and counsel Wei Yuan—included thousands of pages of information.
Perkins Coie received the highest bid score among the selected firms.
