Fall 2025 Labor and Employment Law Program
We hosted our Fall 2025 Labor and Employment Law Program—a comprehensive 90-minute presentation that explored recent developments in employment law at the federal and state levels, and included a deep dive into state law developments in California and Washington.
We covered a range of critical legislative, regulatory, and case updates, including:
- Key components of President Trump’s regulatory agenda
- Supreme Court updates
- Anticipated AI legislation and regulations affecting California employers
- Revised guidance from the NLRB’s general counsel for both union and nonunion workplaces
- The status of the NLRB and anticipated future actions
- Revisions to Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunities Act, including compensation disclosure requirements and internal transfer/promotions
- New legislative restrictions on Washington employers’ use of criminal records in hiring
- Significant changes to Washington’s Paid Family and Medical Leave law, including the expansion of job restoration rights
Continuing Education Credits
CLE Credit: This program is pending approval for 1.5 general CLE credits in AZ, CA, CO, ID, IL, OR, TX, and WI; 1.5 law and legal WA CLE credit; and for 1.5 professional practice NY CLE credit for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys. To receive CLE credit, remote attendees must complete the CLE Form for Fall 2025 Virtual Labor & Employment Law Program within three (3) business days after the program date.
