Kaci L. Peterson
Kaci represents a wide range of clients, from startups and emerging growth companies to late-stage companies and private equity funds.
Kaci Peterson provides counsel on various aspects throughout the lifecycle of a company, including entity formation and restructuring, commercial contract drafting, and negotiation, as well as general corporate governance and sale, acquisition, or other exit.
Experienced in both buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, Kaci works with her private equity fund clients and their portfolio companies on strategic add-on acquisitions and operational execution. In addition to more traditional work, Kaci has developed industry-specific knowledge in plumbing and HVAC-related transactions.
Maintaining an active pro bono practice, Kaci assists businesses and nonprofit organizations with formation, state and federal tax-exemption applications, and other general corporate matters. She also helps veterans prepare estate planning documents at the local veteran's wills clinic.
