Wonji Kerper
Wonji Kerper helps companies navigate complex state and federal marketing, advertising, and consumer protection issues.
She routinely counsels on claim substantiation, green advertising, dark patterns, endorsements and testimonials, deceptive pricing, recurring subscriptions, online disclosures, intellectual property (IP) rights, and other Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rules and guidelines.
In addition to her counseling practice, Wonji regularly drafts and reviews celebrity endorsement agreements, media and publicity releases, influencer agreements, rewards and loyalty program terms, gift cards terms, and sweepstakes and contest rules. Before becoming an advertising and marketing lawyer, Wonji was an IP litigator helping clients resolve patent-, trademark-, and copyright-related matters. She has experience drafting pleadings and motions for cases in the federal court, arbitration, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
Wonji is actively engaged in pro bono matters, especially those related to veterans' rights and asylum.
