Willa Wu
Willa Wu works in the firm's Patent Prosecution & Portfolio Counseling practice.
Prior to joining Perkins Coie, she worked as an intellectual property (IP) law clerk with a national law firm, working in both IP litigation and IP prosecution. She also spent one year working in the Intellectual Property Law Clinic at the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, providing pro bono representation on intellectual property matters to inventors and businesses in the Midwest.
Willa earned her J.D. from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where she served as executive editor for the Washington University Law Review and was on the board of the Intellectual Property Law Society. She received her B.S. in actuarial science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she gained extensive knowledge in financial technology (Fintech), artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), and predictive analytics.
