Vikram performs strategic patent counseling and prepares and prosecutes U.S. and international patent applications for clients.

Vikram Iyengar combines a scientific and technical background with legal analysis to counsel clients in IP matters that arise from emerging technologies. His clients include those in AI, blockchain, virtual reality devices, telecommunications, integrated circuits, space tech, energy transition, and social media tech spaces. 

Vikram also provides support on inter partes reviews, patent portfolio analysis, IP due diligence, and freedom-to-operate analysis. 

Prior to attending Stanford Law School, Vikram worked as a senior engineer at IBM Corporation, where he served on IBM's Invention Disclosure Review Board, managing invention disclosure meetings and working with outside counsel. He was also a technical contributor to IBM's microelectronics business, designing circuits for supercomputers, smartphones, and internet routers. 

A recognized inventor, Vikram has been awarded 25 U.S. patents and published his work in books, leading peer-reviewed engineering journals, and law reviews.
