Tyler Fergusson
Tyler Fergusson is a business litigation lawyer focused on contract disputes, intellectual property, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) litigation, and securities regulatory matters.
Known for his thorough, detail-oriented approach to litigation, Tyler is frequently called on to navigate complex legal issues and consistently delivers excellent client service.
In his intellectual property practice, Tyler represents clients in trade secret litigation involving misappropriation claims. As part of his ADA practice, Tyler advises clients on accessibility requirements and defends businesses (both physical and online) against plaintiffs alleging violations of the ADA and California's Unruh Act.
Tyler also advises clients in investigations conducted by government and other federal agencies, as well as state attorneys general. He has helped clients prepare for government depositions, respond to formal requests for information, and has favorably resolved a case alleging violations of state securities law.
Tyler also maintains a robust pro bono practice and has successfully represented numerous businesses in San Francisco's Chinatown against serial filers of ADA litigation. He also represents clients in asylum proceedings resulting from gang violence and is actively involved in a challenge to the Title IX religious organization exemption.
