Stephen Feldman
Stephen is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer who focuses his practice on representing policyholders in a wide range of insurance coverage disputes.
Stephen Feldman also represents clients in intellectual property litigation and other commercial disputes.
In his insurance recovery practice, Stephen helps policyholders pursue claims under multiple lines of coverage. His clients span most industries and range from Fortune 100 companies to family-owned businesses. Stephen has developed practice depth in a diverse variety of coverage areas, and he has represented policyholder-clients in coverage cases that have involved directors and officers liability, professional liability, environmental liability, employment practices liability, products liability, toxic torts, cyber and privacy liability, intellectual property claims, historic abuse claims, government and regulatory claims, construction defect claims, product recall, employee dishonesty, as well as first-party property and business interruption losses. Stephen also regularly counsels clients regarding policy language, policy renewals, and securing payment of claims without resorting to litigation.
In his intellectual property litigation practice, Stephen primarily represents corporate clients in trademark and trade dress litigation matters, as well as trade secret misappropriation cases. Stephen also represents clients in various commercial disputes, including contract disputes and insurance broker negligence cases.

Obtained victory for adidas America Inc. and adidas AG on all trademark claims that they asserted against Payless ShoeSource Inc. After 14 days of trial and two days of deliberations, the nine-person jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of adidas and awarded the company $304.6 million in compensatory and punitive damages, the largest jury verdict ever awarded in a trademark infringement action. Post-trial proceedings are pending.
