Shae McPhee
Shae McPhee is an associate in the firm's Business Litigation practice.
Prior to joining Perkins Coie, he gained experience as both a deputy solicitor general and an assistant solicitor general with the Louisiana Department of Justice. While there, he briefed and argued cases in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Louisiana Supreme Court and acted as lead counsel in federal district court cases. Prior to working for the Louisiana Department of Justice, he was a judicial law clerk for the Fifth Circuit, Supreme Court of Texas, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Shae earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served as co-editor-in-chief for the Stanford Journal of International Law. He received his B.A. in both English and philosophy from Brigham Young University.
