Sara focuses on environmental litigation, representing clients in contaminated site disputes and infrastructure projects.
Sara Cloon is an environmental litigation lawyer and has experience handling cases involving large cleanup sites under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and its state counterparts. She works with clients to manage contaminated site redevelopment and negotiate with federal and state agencies to resolve contamination issues. She is adept at navigating the evolving world of emerging contaminations, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
In her National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) practice, Sara represents corporate and governmental clients seeking to build and defend infrastructure projects. She has experience assessing and litigating issues related to the legality of the NEPA review process and the Administrative Procedure Act.
Sara maintains an active pro bono practice involving constitutional claims for marginalized communities.
