Ryan Freedman is an IP lawyer who focuses on assisting clients in safeguarding their innovations. Ryan has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications across a broad spectrum of industries, including aerospace and medical devices. He provides counsel on the management of domestic and international patent portfolios and conducts due diligence for clients considering the acquisition of IP assets.

Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Ryan interned at the Criminal Defense Clinic, where he provided legal representation to clients facing misdemeanor charges. He also interned for the Hon. Edmund M. Dane at the Nassau County Supreme Court, conducting legal research and observing trials and pretrial conferences.
