Richard D. Dusenbury

With extensive experience and a strategic approach, Richard advises clients on complex business transactions and legal challenges.

Richard Dusenbury represents traditional private equity funds, strategic acquirers, search funds, and fund-less sponsors as both buyers and sellers in private merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions across a variety of industries, including software and technology, healthcare, manufacturing, engineering, and personal merchandise. His experience encompasses a wide range of transaction types and structures, such as customary buy-outs, structured equity and debt investments, and other minority equity infusions. In each transaction, Richard prides himself on providing counsel aimed at efficiently and effectively solving real-world problems that arise through the deal process with the goal of getting the deal done for his clients.

In addition to his work in M&A, Richard handles a broad range of other corporate-related legal matters. These include venture capital investments, corporate governance, private placements of securities, federal and state securities law compliance, entity formation, and general commercial transactions.
