Rachel collaborates with teams across Perkins Coie’s practices to support clients’ in-house legal needs.
During her secondment with a multinational technology company, Rachel Humphrey managed corporate governance for U.S. subsidiaries and oversaw relationships with outside counsel in multiple countries, facilitating the entity formation, capital movement, and corporate governance needed for the client’s global expansion.
Additionally, Rachel worked closely with a global financial services client to ensure privacy compliance. In partnership with the client’s internal risk and litigation teams, she responded to domestic and cross-border law enforcement disclosure demands, civil subpoenas and temporary restraining orders, and pre-litigation complaints.
Rachel has experience conducting document review and privilege analysis for commercial litigation, securities regulation, due diligence, and investigations. Leveraging her background in administrative law, Rachel quickly develops insight into a case through its body of documents. She is proficient in document review platforms such as Relativity, DISCO, and Kira.
Before joining Perkins Coie, Rachel practiced law in environmental and land use, real property, immigration, and criminal defense.
