Oviett Worthington Wargula
Oviett graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Seattle Journal of Technology, Environmental, and Innovation Law.
While in law school, she was also a member of the Veteran's Law Society, the Privacy Law Student Association, and the International Human Rights Clinic. Oviett received the CALI Award in legal writing and was nominated for the Faculty Scholar Award.
Oviett was a summer associate at Perkins Coie in 2021. She was previously a legal intern at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Before practicing law, Oviett was a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and continues to serve in the Air Force Reserves, where she holds a top-secret security clearance. During her military service, Oviett deployed numerous times to Afghanistan and Africa and received several military honors, including the Joint Service Commendation Medal (twice) and the Bronze Star.
