Nisha Nariya represents clients on a broad range of estate planning and nonprofit matters. She is dedicated to understanding each client’s objectives and circumstances, providing clear and practical guidance and building long-term relationships grounded in trust and discretion.
Nisha helps clients protect their wealth, minimize taxes, and reduce the risk of family and business disputes where possible. She regularly counsels business owners on succession planning and has extensive experience in establishing and managing family offices. Nisha also advises on probate and trust administration and represents clients in trust and estate dispute resolution.
In addition, she advises individuals and organizations on the formation and governance of tax-exempt entities, including private foundations, public charities, and donor-advised funds. In 2021, Nisha completed a prestigious secondment at the Obama Foundation, where she provided legal counsel on governance and compliance with tax-exempt rules and regulations related to projects and fundraising.
Nisha’s clients include entrepreneurs, shareholders of public and private corporations, owners of closely held businesses, family offices, C-level executives, entertainers, authors, artists, art collectors, athletes, investors, private foundations, and Section 501(c)(3) organizations.
Nisha is engaged in the local community and currently serves on the board of directors for Seattle Arts & Lectures. She is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Seattle and Northwest Business Advisors, and she regularly participates in Seattle Association of Corporate Growth events.
