Mikael Floyd earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and graduated summa cum laude from The University of Houston with a B.S. in political science, where he was awarded The Harry S. Truman Scholarship, representing Texas. Mikael was selected for the Perkins Coie Political Law Fellowship program in 2022. He was a law clerk at Perkins Coie during his second and third years of law school. Before law school, Mikael served as the treasurer of the Texas Democratic Party from 2018 to 2022 and was an elected member of his hometown school board.
