Michael Carr represents emerging companies from entity formation, growth transactions, and corporate governance matters through sale, acquisition, or change of ownership. In addition, he serves as outside counsel to these clients, assisting with day-to-day legal and business matters.
Michael advises private equity and venture capital funds in mergers and acquisitions, with experience on both the buy- and sell-side. Representing the portfolio companies of his private equity clients, he provides guidance in connection with strategic add-on acquisitions and operational execution. Additionally, Michael has developed significant industry-specific knowledge on mining-related transactions.
Active in his community, Michael serves on the boards of directors of Friends of Zoo Boise and the Downtown Boise Foundation, Inc., which focuses on the city’s economic development and community betterment. He is also on the board of advisors for the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce.
