Matt's practice encompasses a broad range of real estate transactions across all property classifications, including retail, industrial, office, and hotel.
Matthew Shebuski is a partner with the firm's Real Estate & Land Use practice. He has represented clients in connection with financings, acquisitions and dispositions, workouts and bankruptcy reorganizations, sale/leasebacks, leasing, and other transactions, such as joint ventures and the formation of funds to facilitate investment in real estate assets.
Matt's extensive experience in real estate financing includes the representation of both borrowers and lenders in connection with the structuring and origination of real estate-secured loans, including commercial mortgage-backed loans and the securitization of those loans. In the previous ten years, he has represented various REITs and other real estate companies in connection with the borrowing of loans with an aggregate principal amount in excess of $6.5 billion as well as other capital markets transactions.
