Mary Claire’s practice includes a wide variety of tax matters, such as advising clients on the tax implications of real estate transactions, drafting operating agreements, and analyzing contract amendments for healthcare entities. She has experience researching and interpreting complex tax laws to provide clients with accurate and practical advice. Mary Claire also has experience analyzing regulations and revenue procedures and preparing tax returns and extensions.
Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Mary Claire was a tax law analyst at Bloomberg Industry Group, where she analyzed tax developments related to estates, gifts, trusts, and exempt organizations. She also served as a law clerk where she advised on property law and drafted legal documents. Additionally, Mary Claire worked as an extern for the Colorado Office of the Attorney General, researching insurance regulations and analyzing receivership requirements.
