Madeline McFee
Maddie represents emerging and established companies across a wide range of industries, including software-as-a-service, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, mobile applications, and consumer products.
Madeline (Maddie) McFee's practice encompasses transactional, privacy, and product counseling matters on topics including dark patterns, online service terms, procurement and manufacturing, and compliance with state privacy laws. She has experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements related to matters such as intellectual property rights, licensing, and AI.
Maddie maintains an active pro bono practice, providing legal representation for clients pursuing asylum, U nonimmigrant status visas, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status renewals.
Maddie is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School where she served as a notes editor and acting managing notes editor of the Michigan Journal of Law Reform. Her note, “Federal-State Partnership: How the Federal Government Should Better Support Its State Unemployment Insurance Offices in Times of Crisis,” was published in the journal.
Prior to law school, Maddie worked as a project manager and financial analyst at a major home and auto insurance company.
