Linda is a discovery attorney with the firm's NewLaw practice. 

Linda Praast reviews legal documents for relevance, specific issues, and privilege, using different platforms including Relativity, iConnect, and DISCO. She also assists with quality control and identification and analysis of “hot” documents. Linda works on reviews across a broad range of matters, including antitrust, fraud investigations, and contract and patent disputes. In addition to document review, she supports case teams with deposition and trial preparation. This includes creating exhibits, chronologies, outlines, and analyses of key issues. 

Linda has extensive experience building spreadsheets for tracking and analyzing data. Additionally, she assists with motion filings, including identifying key documents and drafting supporting declarations.

Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Linda worked on many large-scale discovery reviews, heavily focusing on U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission antitrust investigations, including second requests. During these reviews, she drafted privilege logs and helped with deposition preparation. Linda was employed for many years in trade association management at the local, state, and national levels.
