Drawing on his legal training and experience as a biomedical scientist, KT counsels emerging technology and biotech innovation companies across a wide range of industries.
KT Nguyen represents both companies and investors in venture capital transactions and advises early-stage technology and life sciences startups on a broad range of corporate matters. He has experience assisting clients from formation to exit on governance, capitalization, financings, employment, and IP matters.
Before law school, KT was a graduate researcher in UCSF’s Biomedical Sciences program, where he studied the molecular mechanisms underlying certain neurodegenerative diseases and brain cancers. He also worked in the university’s technology transfer office, consulting with university inventors on patentability and commercialization of their inventions.
