Kathleen M. Howard

Kathie has more than 25 years of experience advising clients on all phases of commercial, retail, office, and industrial real estate transactions. Her background also includes general business counseling, litigation, and healthcare.

A substantial portion of Kathie Howard 's practice is devoted to national commercial leasing (retail, office and industrial), which includes both transactional and counseling matters. She advises and negotiates on behalf of a variety of clients on both the landlord and tenant sides. She also actively assists clients in managing their national real estate portfolios, particularly shopping center assets. Kathie's wealth of experience and practical approach enable her to successfully resolve complex legal issues and to facilitate numerous real estate and business transactions for clients in both the public and private sectors.

Kathie's experience includes representation of hospitals and healthcare providers, advising on administrative, clinical, business, real estate, and regulatory and compliance matters, including those related to health information privacy and security and healthcare fraud and abuse. She also provides general counsel services to companies seeking to outsource or supplement their legal support functions.

Kathie's diverse background gives her a broad perspective and enables her to provide an array of counseling services and to help clients effectively manage their legal affairs.
