Junior Dufort

Junior Dufort is a member of the firm's Financial Services Corporate, Regulatory, Compliance & Transactions practice.

Prior to joining Perkins Coie, he worked as the deputy director of campaign affairs for Philadelphia Councilman Isaiah Thomas and on the campaign team for State Representative Joe Hohenstein. He also completed internships at both the Connecticut Judicial Branch and the Office of Immigrant Affairs at Philadelphia City Hall. He received his B.A. in political science and criminal justice from Temple University.

Junior earned his J.D. from University of Maryland King Carey School of Law, where he was a member of the Black Law Student Association, Student Bar Association, National Trial Team, and executive article editor of the Maryland Journal of International Law. During law school, Junior was a two-time summer associate with Perkins Coie. He also participated in the Youth, Justice, Education Clinic at the University of Maryland, representing child clients and incarcerated clients. In 2023, Junior was selected as a Perkins Coie Racial Justice Fellowship recipient, which allowed him the opportunity to work with the Maryland Office of Public Defenders Decarceration Initiative.
