Julissa is experienced in corporate secondments, with a focus on corporate governance, pre-litigation demands, and garnishments, and in conducting privilege review in collaboration with litigation teams.
Julissa Robles has built strong client relationships through multiple secondments. In her most recent role, she oversaw corporate governance for the Latin American subsidiaries of a multinational tech company, managing outside counsel and working with cross-functional teams to establish new entities in foreign jurisdictions, support capital contributions and restructuring, and ensure annual legal compliance. Previously, Julissa supported a financial services and software-as-a-service company by responding to global prelitigation demands involving card network rules, commercial fraud, compliance, data breaches, and privacy issues. She also prepared and filed garnishment responses across U.S. and international jurisdictions. Additionally, Julissa has successfully assisted a technology and security company in handling law enforcement requests while protecting customer privacy rights.
As a discovery attorney, Julissa excels in data analysis, providing insights on complex issues and case themes. She has reviewed documents in cases involving contract disputes, fraud, intellectual property, and personal injury. She has previous experience as a litigation lawyer, representing clients on such issues as compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, insurance coverage and bad faith, products liability, and wage-and-hour claims. She has also represented corporate clients in matters arising on tribal lands.
Julissa is fluent in Spanish and is committed to pro bono service, regularly participating in the firm’s monthly DACA clinic, the ELAP Wills Clinic, and providing interpretation for clients in immigration proceedings.
