Jesús advises and negotiates on behalf of customers and vendors in a variety of technology-related transactions.
Jesús Castillón advises clients in technology transactions, information technology outsourcing, software licensing, and commercial sourcing across a variety of industries. Clients seek his knowledgeable guidance as it relates to IT procurement services, software, data and content licensing, cloud computing, software as a service, managed services, and outsourcing implementation transactions. Jesús also counsels clients on data security, data use, and privacy-related issues.
As part of his practice, Jesús was embedded within the legal department of one of the world's largest oilfield services providers for temporary periods to cover special projects as in-house counsel. This experience afforded him insights into the critical issues and internal pressures facing clients.
Jesús chairs the Dallas office's Diversity Committee.
