Jaime partners closely with firm leadership to identify new client opportunities, expand key client relationships, and develop long-term growth strategies.
As business development director for Perkins Coie, Jaime Hochhausen drives strategic growth initiatives for the firm’s Digital Media & Entertainment, Gaming & Sports industry group, as well as the Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions practices. She works closely with partners on both sell- and buy-side transactions, capital raises, and complex deals involving bankruptcy and restructuring.
In her role, Jaime partners directly with lawyers and clients to identify opportunities, anticipate emerging business and legal issues, and position teams for success in competitive markets. Drawing on three decades of experience in the legal industry—including her background as a commercial and intellectual property litigator and more than 15 years in business development—Jaime brings a deep understanding of industry trends and the deal landscape. She is a trusted adviser known for connecting strategic insights with practical execution to help clients and colleagues achieve their goals.
Jaime is also an active member of the dealmaking community, serving on several committees with the Association for Corporate Growth, the Alliance of M&A Advisors, and the Turnaround Management Association.
