Grecia M. Sáenz is a trusted adviser to clients on pre-litigation risk management, dispute avoidance, and strategic litigation planning for high-value construction projects, delivering cost-effective solutions and minimizing exposure.
Grecia’s clients—including business and residential owners, developers, and contractors across the construction, energy, food processing, technology, and infrastructure sectors—rely on her to navigate complex legal terrain, anticipate obstacles, and keep projects moving forward. She has experience securing favorable verdicts and settlements in high-stakes construction disputes.
Grecia’s practice encompasses drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated construction contracts, such as AIA Agreements; engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements; design-build; and custom agreements for large-scale infrastructure, energy, and technology projects. She is experienced in catastrophic failure litigation for major industrial and energy facilities, representing clients in multijurisdictional, high-exposure disputes involving design and engineering defects, equipment failures, warranty claims, contract disputes, negligence, and product liability. Grecia collaborates with top technical professionals to deliver comprehensive results.
Grecia also advises on legal issues involving AI and technology in construction, including risk allocation for digital project delivery and navigating emerging regulatory frameworks. Her experience spans cross-border contract negotiations and dispute resolution for projects in Latin America, Europe, and other international markets.
In addition to her construction litigation and transactional matters, Grecia maintains a broad practice that goes beyond construction law, including corporate matters. This breadth allows her to provide comprehensive counsel on a wide range of legal challenges, including business formation, corporate governance, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance.
Grecia maintains a robust pro bono portfolio, advocating for clients in immigration, domestic affairs, disability rights, constitutional and statutory violations, and personal injury defense.
