

Gabryelle (Gaby) K. Matz-Carter
Gaby is an associate in the Perkins Coie Corporate practice in the firm’s Seattle office.
Gabryelle Matz-Carter earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, where she led the Black Law Students Association as president. During her time in law school, Gaby was awarded the Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship, allowing her to study French at UW’s Canadian Studies Center. She also served as a Perkins Coie summer associate in 2022 and 2023.
Gaby is a proud alumna of Howard University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in political science and a minor in French. Her academic experience was further enriched by fellowships in Dakar, Senegal, and Paris, France, deepening her perspective on the global economy.
