Elise S. Edlin

Elise Edlin represents clients in complex litigation in federal courts, before the U.S. International Trade Commission, and at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. She has successfully argued hearings in district court, including invalidating claims and excluding expert testimony. 

Elise’s technical subject matter knowledge enables her to pursue optimal strategies for companies in a range of technologies, including networking, semiconductor fabrication, power management, voice over IP, wireless communications, data processing, medical devices, drug treatments, and power grids. 

Elise has achieved success for her clients at each juncture of the case, including wins on summary judgment, trial, and appeals.  She has broad experience managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, partnering with experts on reports, preparing witnesses, and drafting motions. Elise also enjoys litigating damages, including for standardized technologies with FRAND requirements. 

Elise’s pro bono representations have included veterans’ appeals, asylum hearings, and civil rights litigation.
