David Hume

David Hume is an associate in the Litigation practice, focusing on business litigation, trial advocacy, class actions, privacy and data security, alternative dispute resolution, and corporate due diligence and compliance.

Prior to joining the firm, David worked for the Corporate Fraud Section of the California Attorney General's Office on false claims act and securities fraud actions and investigations. His experience includes working as a summer associate for an intellectual property (IP) litigation boutique, a legal project manager at a large law firm, and in-house at a technology company focused on litigation and compliance.

David earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a fellow for the Georgetown Center for the Constitution and won the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in Securities Litigation and Regulation. During his time at Georgetown, David served as a research assistant, contributing to Professor Maria J. Glover's study of mass arbitration and Professor Victoria Nourse's scholarship on constitutional interpretation and theory.
