Courtney J. Schirr

Courtney is experienced in complex product liability litigation, commercial contract disputes, post-accident investigations, and strategy and risk assessment.

Courtney Schirr defends manufacturers of complex products in a range of industries, with an emphasis on serving clients in the aviation, construction, and consumer products industries. Courtney represents clients on both the plaintiff and defense side of matters in a variety of forums, including federal and state courts and private arbitrations.

Courtney is a proactive problem solver who draws on her experience as a former high school math teacher to communicate complex technical and legal information clearly to all audiences. While attending the University of Washington School of Law, she served as editor-in-chief of Washington Law Review and worked as a judicial extern for the Hon. James L. Robart of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. After earning her J.D., Courtney clerked for the Hon. Mary Beck Briscoe of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and for the Hon. Madeline H. Haikala of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
