Christopher R.M. Stanton
Christopher, senior counsel in the firm's Corporate, and Technology Transactions and Privacy practices, has been both outside counsel and in-house general counsel to public and private technology companies.
Christopher Stanton focuses on complex technology transactions, intellectual property development, protection and licensing, mergers and acquisitions, and business entity formation, financing and governance for public and private companies. He has assisted clients in navigating a wide range of federal and state regulatory issues, including those pertaining to public companies, financing and securities, mobile telecommunications, financial services, privacy, data security and online games.
Chris began his legal career in private practice, including several years as an attorney with Perkins Coie. Most recently, he has acted as general counsel of various public companies in technology industries, including enterprise software and mobile telecommunications services.
Chris has extensive experience assisting companies with their international business activities, such as mergers and acquisitions, business structuring, sales and distribution, and intellectual property matters.
