Christopher D. Grogan

Christopher Grogan represents emerging and early-stage companies and the investors who support them in a breadth of corporate matters, including equity financing, acquisitions, and corporate governance. Earlier in his career, Chris practiced at Perkins Coie in Los Angeles, returning in 2022.

Prior to rejoining Perkins Coie, Chris established and led the legal department of a category-defining technology company in Los Angeles, where he supported and advised company management on legal issues that arose as the company scaled its employee base, diversified its product portfolio, and expanded its geographic footprint. That experience provided him with an insider perspective on his client's daily operations and challenges. Ultimately, he assisted the management of that company in an exit process that saw the company sell to an established industry leader for $4 billion; at that time, the sale was the largest private company technology exit in the Los Angeles market's history.

Chris' business acumen is strengthened by his MBA, as well as his extensive experience in the startup ecosystem, combining a blend of legal knowledge, strategic skills, and entrepreneurship.
