Caroline M. Mew

Caroline is a seasoned litigator representing companies in business disputes in the United States and internationally.

Caroline Mew represents clients in complex civil litigation in federal and state courts across the country. She has litigated a range of commercial matters, including breach of contract, defamation/product disparagement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and breach of fiduciary duty cases on behalf of clients in multiple industries. 

Caroline counsels clients on federal regulatory compliance matters. She assists with evaluating and/or asserting challenges to federal regulatory action under the Administrative Procedure Act and defends clients in private litigation and federal enforcement actions challenging statutory and regulatory compliance. 

An experienced advisor on domestic and international alternative dispute resolution, Caroline has successfully litigated the enforcement of arbitration agreements in employment, medical malpractice, and other disputes.  

Caroline has worked with higher education clients for more than two decades and is an active member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys. She has experience representing standardized testing companies in copyright infringement matters and Americans with Disabilities Act litigation. 

Caroline maintains an active pro bono practice and is co-chair of the Washington, D.C., office Pro Bono Committee.
