Camarin Madigan
A team leader who works across disciplines, Camarin drives project success for clients.
Camarin Madigan represents clients with interests at the intersection of real estate, land use, and the environment. Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines, she advises on all aspects of complex development projects, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. Camarin also handles land use entitlements and environmental permitting for client projects and has a particular focus on ground leasing in her work.
Camarin ’s clients include developers, landowners, lenders, and public agencies. She manages real estate issues for a wide range of properties, from office buildings and shopping centers to agricultural lands and medical facilities. Additionally, Camarin manages real estate work for a major higher education institution.
Experienced in representing clients before the California Energy Commission, the California Coastal Commission, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and various local agencies, Camarin also handles energy, regulatory, and environmental permitting. She is highly knowledgeable of the California Environmental Quality Act and the National Environmental Policy Act.
Prior to joining the firm, Camarin served as outside counsel to a Japan-based international trading, investment and service company. In this role, Camarin managed the legal affairs of the client and its subsidiaries in North, Central, and South America involved in various industries, including energy and natural resources, agricultural resources, and information technology.
Active in the San Francisco community, Camarin serves on the board of the Friends of Port Chicago National Memorial and Contra Costa Senior Legal Services.
