Ben Longbottom
Ben is an associate in Perkins Coie's Environmental Litigation practice, where he handles commercial and natural resource disputes for clients in the power generation, mining, natural resource, and agricultural industries.
Ben Longbottom experience also includes Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) litigation and complex infrastructure permitting due diligence. Ben has also worked as pro bono counsel on a civil rights case brought by an incarcerated person in Arizona.
Before joining the firm, Ben worked as a law clerk for a small firm focusing on Colorado River law and policy issues facing Arizona farmers.
Ben earned his J.D. from the Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, where he served as a staff writer for the Arizona State Law Journal and vice president of the university's chapter of the American Constitution Society. Ben also received a Certificate in Law and Sustainability with a focus in water law. In 2022, he published two articles pertaining to water law and policy.
