Ashley has experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements involving product development, manufacturing, and distribution; license agreements for software, data, and intellectual property (IP); and services and purchase agreements.
Ashley Connelly (she/her) advises a wide range of clients on regulatory and transactional matters across technology and telecom industries, including radiocommunications, telecommunications, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, consumer goods, custom silicon and semiconductors, cloud computing, and technical infrastructure.
Ashley has extensive knowledge of regulatory issues, particularly matters concerning the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) consumer protections and requirements for radiocommunication devices. She also has experience providing counsel on privacy compliance matters focusing on California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements. With a background in public policy, Ashley is well positioned to help clients understand how regulation may affect them and develop best practices for compliance.
Ashley maintains an active pro bono practice helping public interest organizations advocate for equitable access to the internet and providing transactional support to nonprofit organizations.
