Andrea Traut advises on and drafts agreements for software licensing, hardware and materials procurement, cloud computing, software as a service, and managed services across a variety of industries including retail, technology, and aerospace.
Before re-joining Perkins Coie, Andrea served as in-house counsel for a large convenience chain. While she was with the company, she negotiated contracts and counseled senior leadership through the procurement of hardware and software at an enterprise level. In addition, she supported the company’s research and development team in developing new technology for in-store implementation, including biometric usage. Her in-house experience gives her a deep understanding of pressures faced by client legal and business teams, allowing her to provide practical, solution-based legal advice.
