Amanda focuses on assisting clients with privacy compliance relating to their products and services, as well as structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements.
Amanda Mobrand regularly works with clients to develop global privacy compliance strategies under Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, emerging U.S. state privacy laws, and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Amanda also assesses data sharing practices, prepares privacy policies and notices, and drafts and negotiates agreements involving data protection and privacy terms.
Amanda advises clients on general commercial and product counseling matters, including preparing consumer-facing terms and supporting clients with their product and feature launches.
Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Amanda spent several years working as in-house counsel, including most recently as privacy counsel for a Washington-based technology company.
