Alexander Bau
Alex Bau is an associate in the firm's Business Litigation practice.
He previously worked at Perkins Coie as a summer associate. Prior to joining the firm, Alex clerked for Judge John C. Coughenour of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington and for Justice Barbara Madsen for the Washington State Supreme Court.
While in law school, Alex was the Managing Editor for the Michigan Law Review and president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. Additionally, he served as a student attorney for the Child Welfare Appellate Clinic and Child Advocacy Law Clinic, and as a legal intern for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Michigan. He earned his B.A. in Asian Studies from Pomona College.
